I'm Mike. Michigan is the only state I plan, and I'll tell you what I'd do even when that costs me the job.

I send back a written plan with the courses in the order I'd play them and where to book each one, and on most plans you book it direct at the price anyone pays. It's one flat fee per group, starting at $125, and nobody pays me a commission.

I only plan one state, and I've written down what's not worth your money.

The guy reading your form is the guy building your plan and the guy you email when something changes. There's no team behind me, and I've spent ten years doing this for groups of four to twenty.

How it works

You tell me the trip

Group size, rough dates, and what the guys want out of it besides the golf. That's enough for me to get started.

I ask a few questions, then I name the fee

I'll come back with questions about the trip, and once the shape of it is clear, I'll give you one flat number for the whole group. No call to sit through, and nothing owed while we're working it out.

You say yes, then I build it

Once we've agreed on the number I send a payment link, and you'll know the delivery date before you pay it. The plan comes back written out day by day, ready to forward to the group.

You book it all direct

You get the numbers and the order to work through them, and you pay each place direct at what they'd charge anyone local. Nobody pays me a commission, so nothing on your trip is marked up. White Glove is the one exception, and it's the tier where I handle the booking.

A tight cluster of public courses, and the trip starts the day you get in.

The Availability Guarantee

Plans meet the real world, and sometimes a tee time or a room is gone by the time you call. If anything in your plan isn't available when you book it on the schedule I give you, I fix it free until your trip is fully booked. You're never left holding a plan that doesn't work.

Day 2 · The anchor

Tee window 8:00 to 9:30 AM

Book this one first, lock the morning, and build the entire week around it.

August tee times here vanish, and the afternoon wind off Lake Michigan changes the course into something it is not in the morning. So this is the only round dated before anything else, including the lodging. Everything else flexes around protecting that slot.

Evening. The one dinner worth dressing for. Reservation made well ahead, because the group of 8 will not walk in on a summer Saturday.

Who plans your trip

Michigan has far more to offer than most people get to see, and a golf trip is one of the best ways to find it.

I've spent years driving all over this state with my best friends, playing golf and making the kind of memories nothing else touches. There are a hundred ways to put a Michigan golf trip together, and I take the guesswork out of it.

I grew up in Northeast Michigan. I know the small towns, I know which routes cut real time off a drive, and I know how to set up lodging so you get what you're after.

My first job was on the maintenance crew at Lakewood Shores in Oscoda, the summer after high school, cutting and stacking the sod on those bunker walls by hand. You learn a golf course differently when you've been out on it at five in the morning with a shovel.

Common questions.

What's included in a trip plan?

You get the whole plan. Which courses and in what order, where to stay, where to eat, and a booking sequence with links and tee time windows so your group can lock it in. On White Glove I book the tee times and lodging myself and stay your single point of contact through departure.

When do I pay?

Not until you've said yes. I'll ask a few questions about the trip, then give you one flat fee for the whole group. Once you reply that it works, I send a payment link and start when it's paid. Courses and lodging you pay direct, at their own rates.

Do you book tee times and lodging directly?

The Starter, Weekender and Premium plans include booking links and strategy so your group can book directly. The White Glove Experience includes full booking on your behalf.

What group sizes do you work with?

Plans are built for groups of 4 to 20+. The Premium Trip Plan covers up to around 20 golfers for the same flat fee, so most groups fit without stepping up to White Glove.
